We are so thrilled to feature Keith and Hali on the blog today! They were married on a gorgeous, September day at Homestead Hollow in Springville, AL. The day was filled with soft clouds and blues skies which was perfect for setting up a bright, airy mood.
Keith’s proposal to Hali was/is one of our favorite proposals this year. Keith and Hali were high school sweethearts and when the time came, Keith proposed by placing a collar on their fur baby, Ryder, asking “will you marry me?”. They even brought their pup along with them for their engagement photos.
Their wedding day definitely was a day to remember! Hali got ready with her bridesmaids in the home of a family friend and it added that personal touch that we love to feel on wedding days. We greeted Keith later at Hali’s mother’s home, where he excitedly put on his vest and tie and his mother helped him with his boutonniere. She could not have been more proud of her son.
Prior to the wedding day, Hali told us how she had fallen in love with this barn on the side of the road in downtown Springville and contacted the owners. Of course we were in love with this barn too as soon as we saw it! There, Keith and Hali shared an intimate first look and tears of joy streamed down both of their faces.
Wooden pews complimented the rustic charm of the venue and Hali took our breath away when she came down the aisle with her father. Keith could NOT stop smiling …the look on his face was our favorite part of the day! Hali honored the memory of their grandparents and carried them down the aisle with her with her bouquet (we love this beautiful touch of keeping loved ones’ memories in their hearts). During their ceremony Keith and Hali had a unique twist to the traditional ceremony, a board was made to represent how the Lord is present always in their marriage and a braiding ceremony was held to “tie the knot”.
Their reception area was surrounded by lively, green trees in which chandeliers hung. The mood was romantic with ambient lighting and gentle breezes. Hali and Keith even stepped away to have some photos taken during sunset. Once night set in, they party really started to amp up. They danced, “whipped and neh-nehed”, and Keith’s brother put us all to shame with his Michael Jackson moves!! Look out ladies!
Finally, they were sent off with sparklers and continued to dance the night away with friends and family!
Congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Bryant! We could not be more excited for you two; may the Lord bless your marriage!
